There are bathrooms in the parking lot near the summit. The views from top are nice on a clear day. Always a pleasure. When you hit the gravel road at the woods creek gate, look to the other side of the road. Watch out for the yellow jackets nest, about 1.3 miles starting from the parking lot, a little bit after the first switchback to the left, run by it and they won't get you :). Take the trail which gives you great views of the forest as you climb a sustained gradual climb to the junction with the Tie Trail (there will be a bench there). The summit trail is not closed, there was an unauthorized spur trail that is closed making it somewhat confusing but the summit trail itself is clearly open. A 2-3 mile fire road climb, finishing with a singe track climb to the summit. Very busy, though. Had to climb over a big tree with my dog on the way up in the first 1.5 miles, so be prepared if with dog or someone not as able bodied to maneuver over it. This trail leads through a lush forest that is green throughout the year. The trail is primarily used for hiking. I was surprised to find that an fkt had not been set for the North Ridge-East Ridge Loop, so had some fun and added another fkt and county high point to my list. There are some bugs / mosquito's.
